Booking, Cancellation & Refund Terms

Maillard Consultation Company (MCC)

Please read the following terms carefully and agree to them before completing payment. By completing payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and fully agreed to these terms.

1. Nature of the service

  • MCC prepares each course as a training service (not a physical product). It involves materials and supplies purchased and prepared specifically for each booking. Some of these materials have a limited shelf life and cannot be reused or returned after purchase.
  • Accordingly, the following cancellation and refund policy applies to protect both parties' rights, in line with Kuwait Consumer Protection Law No. (39) of 2014 and its executive regulations, which allow a service provider to set a fair, transparent cancellation policy for services with fixed appointments.

2. Cancellation & refund policy

3. Rescheduling

  • The client may request to reschedule to the nearest available course once only per booking, subject to the cancellation & refund policy in section 2.
  • The client cannot choose a specific date for the replacement course; the choice is from the dates available and announced on the website.
  • A reschedule request must be submitted at least 48 hours before the course. After this period, rescheduling is not possible.
  • Rescheduling is subject to seat availability in upcoming courses announced on the website.

4. Emergencies (exception)

  • In the event of cancellation due to a documented emergency — such as a sudden illness or a death in the family — these cases are subject to MCC's good-faith discretion, and the company is committed to handling them with flexibility and fairness.

5. How to submit a cancellation request

  • Cancellation or reschedule requests are submitted through the approved official channels (the approved website / WhatsApp / email).
  • The official date and time MCC receives the request is the basis for calculating the cancellation period — not merely the date the client sent the message.
  • Receipt of the request will be confirmed to the client within two business days.

6. Refund timeframe

  • Where the client is entitled to a refund (full or partial), the amount is returned via the original payment method within no more than 14 business days from the date the refund request is approved. The actual time for the amount to appear in the client's account depends on the bank or payment-gateway procedures, and MCC is not responsible for any delay caused by these parties.

7. Client acknowledgment & consent

  • By completing payment, the client acknowledges: I have read and fully understood the cancellation and refund policy above.
  • I agree that the materials and supplies used in the course are purchased and prepared specifically upon booking, have a limited shelf life, and cannot be refunded after the specified period.
  • I understand that cancellation less than 4 days before the course is not entitled to a cash refund and is limited to rescheduling, and that cancellation less than 48 hours before is not entitled to any refund or reschedule.
  • I agree to the cancellation-request mechanism through MCC's approved official channels.

Note: This policy is subject to periodic review by MCC to ensure it complies with the latest updates to Kuwait Consumer Protection Law No. (39) of 2014 and its executive regulations, and any other legislation related to digital commerce in the State of Kuwait. In the event of any conflict between these terms and a mandatory legal provision, the legal provision prevails.
